Delete Your Account
You can delete your narde.games account and your personal data at any time, from inside the app. The account closes immediately and the data is erased 30 days later — a window that exists so you can undo a mistake, or recover an account somebody else closed. This page explains how, how to cancel, and what happens to your data. For the full picture, see our Privacy Policy.
Delete from within the app
- Open narde.games.
- Go to My Profile → Security → Danger Zone → Delete account.
- Confirm with whatever you sign in with — your password, a passkey, or a linked sign-in provider.
The account is closed at once: you are signed out on every device and it can no longer be used. Your personal data is erased 30 days later. It works the same on iOS, Android and the web.
Changed your mind?
Sign in before that date and the deletion is cancelled — your games, rating and messages are all still there. That is the only thing you have to do; there is no separate “undo” to find.
If you cannot sign in — a lost password, a mailbox you no longer have — contact support@narde.games before the date and we will cancel it for you.
After the 30 days, erasure cannot be undone.
Delete without the app, or sooner
If you no longer have the app installed, or you want your data erased without waiting out the 30 days:
- Send an e-mail to support@narde.games from the address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”, or
- Submit the request form at [WEB ACCOUNT-DELETION URL].
We verify your identity before acting on the request, so please write from your registered e-mail address or include enough information for us to locate your account.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize your personal data, including:
- account and identity data (e-mail, username, password hash, passkey identifiers);
- profile and social data (nickname, avatar, following/followers, presence);
- your match history and ELO (anonymized);
- your settings and consent records.
What we may keep (and why)
Some things are not deleted because they are not only yours. A match you played is your opponent’s history too, a message you sent is part of a conversation somebody else is still having, and a tournament result belongs to every player in the table. Those records stay — with your name replaced by “Deleted account” everywhere it appeared, and with no way left to reach your profile.
Beyond that, we may retain limited data where another legal basis requires it, for example:
- Moderation, ban and report records — to enforce safety measures and prevent ban evasion.
- Purchase/financial records — as required by tax and accounting law.
- Data needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Timing
The account stops working immediately. Personal data is erased 30 days after the request, and backups are purged on their normal rotation afterwards. The exceptions above are the only things that outlive that.
